Description

Creative Writing is a semester-long course designed to help students explore their writing voices in a creative, engaging environment.  Each unit is designed to introduce and develop different aspects of a writers’ voice.  Students will produce pieces in a number of different forms and genres.  As a class, we will work together as a writing community to support one another through sharing, editing, and discussing.  Students are encouraged to submit their work for consideration in the annual literary festival held in the spring and the school’s literary magazine. **Successful completion of one English IV elective option is required for graduation.
