Description

 

Successful completion of English I is required for graduation. This is a writing intensive course. Content of course study includes the fundamentals of English as a language: its grammar, usage, and traditional modes of the written language, as well as reading and analysis of various genres of literature, and basic composition skills specifically directed at the development of the paragraph and essay.
